How to Create Rivo Account Abstraction Wallet

Introduction to Rivo

Rivo.xyz is an Account Abstraction Wallet and DeFi Marketplace offering one-click access to DeFi yields across multiple blockchains. Combined into one DApp, it leverages new crypto technologies (ZAPs, Account Abstraction) to create a familiar Web2-like experience of earning in DeFi.

Rivo Wallet is designed to simplify and enhance your investment experience in the DeFi space. Utilizing account abstraction technology, you can sign up and log in to your web3 wallet using Google or your social media accounts, eliminating the need for a seed phrase. This makes Rivo more accessible to new users unfamiliar with crypto wallets and provides enhanced security.

Step 1: Create Rivo Smart Contract Wallet

• Go to https://app.rivo.xyz
• Click on the “create new Rivo wallet” button

• Choose your preferred method for creating a wallet: Gmail, X, or Discord

Note: We use Web3Auth infrastructure to authenticate your social media profile without storing your personal information. Once authenticated, a secure, on-chain mapping is created between your profile and your web3 address. It’s that simple and secure!

Congratulations! Your wallet is ready to use.

Note: To activate your wallet on chain, one-time deployment fee will be charged with a first outgoing transaction. Let’s top up your balance and perform the first outgoing transaction.

Step 2: Topping up your wallet

• Select the network you would like to use. In this guide, we use Avalanche network
• Click the “Receive” button and top up your balance

You can top up your balance using a credit or debit card or transfer crypto from any other Web3 wallet. For this guide, we topped up by sending $AVAX from MetaMask.

Step 3: Activating Rivo Account Abstraction wallet

Swapping, investing in a DeFi strategy, or sending crypto to an external wallet, will activate your Rivo Account Abstraction wallet. For this guide, we’re sending $AVAX back to our MetaMask wallet.

• Click on the “Send” button and enter a wallet address
• Review the transaction details to see the breakdown of fees

Congratulations! You’ve completed your first transaction using your Rivo Account Abstraction wallet and activated it successfully.
